Abstract

In addition to reducing chain costs, it is possible to meet the chain greening goals by considering both forward and reverse flows in designing supply chain network. Utilizing strategies such as vehicles routing accompanied by simultaneous pickup and delivery, hub location, and inventory management will also help reduce costs and make the chain greener. The importance of developing the green reverse supply chain networks and applying these strategies has increased by emerging the perishable product chain. In this regard, the present paper aims to develop a green reverse supply chain network for the distribution of dairy products including yogurt drink with the possibility of simultaneous pickup and delivery under uncertainty. In the current model, the minimization of total chain costs and lost demand is simultaneously considered and a fuzzy solution method is provided to solve the bi-objective model.
