Abstract
The article shows how important are the selling skills to success in selling. It argues for the need to training sellers rather than assuming that 'anybody can sell' without the necessary training. It identifies the key dimensions of what is known as the selling cycle and illustrate how important such dimensions are to being an effective seller, especially when supported by strong ethical values.
