Abstract / Description

This cartoon - the second page of two - is about why it is important to develop a biological security code of conduct on good laboratory practice. It discusses the duty of scientists to ensure that their work is used for peaceful means and - as academics working in the higher education sector - to teach about the history of biological weapons as part of the responsible conduct of research. It raises the need for some biological security training for lecturers and the necessity for getting professional certification.
