Abstract

This is the presentation of the invited talk delivered at CONFLUENCE 2022 - the 12th International Conference on Cloud Computing, Data Science & Engineering - in January in Noida, India. The talk covered: some history and pre-history, design principles behind cloud-based data platforms, threat intelligence framework of cyber, Security Research Centre (CSRC), smart city framework of GATE Institute, and towards European data spaces.
