Evans, Emily (2025) The portable creative kit archive. [Artefact]
The Portable Creative Kit Archive is an online blog resource that documents and celebrates creative portable kits - from professional artists to everyday makers.
This research identifies a gap in the documentation of portable creative kits- tools designed for making in situ. While many creatives use such kits informally, there is currently no dedicated physical or online archive recording their forms, uses, or outcomes. This project addresses that through the creation of an online archive, establishing a new resource for researchers, educators, and practitioners interested in mobile and location-based creative practice. This online blog is part of my research questions.
