Abstract / Description
this essay will utilise a decolonial lens that will peruse Education for Social Justice (ESJ) to identify a culturally responsive approach for students to prosper in higher education. A decolonial lens is a fitting approach to interrogate ESJ because it allows for the deconstruction of dominant Eurocentric forms of intellectual production and transmission whilst promoting the pluralisation of the knowledge field (Zembylas, 2018; Mignolo, 2007; Domínguez, 2019).
