Abstract

The author was honoured by CIM to present the topic based on his book. The event "Five great minds" was held to update senior marketers about current issues in marketing.

The author introduced the topic, its principles and methodology. He argued that there is not enough awareness about Social Marketing especially given its proven effectiveness. He finished with a rallying call encouraging Senior Marketers to help make Social Marketing as a routinely covered area in marketing programmes.
