Published as part of the catalogue for Second Edition of Biennale del Gattopardo – Capolavori da leggere e da vedere, this essays (published in Italian, here including a translation into English) traces the development of an archive of artist Marta Czok's work (1947-2025), as part of her dedicated Foundation in Italy. Drawing on contemporary perspectives in Archival Theory, the author argues that archiving should be seen as an experimental endeavour - beyond merely cataloguing the past, archiving should be about projecting work into the future, through innovation and cultural reframing.
