The present issue of Micrologus contains the proceedings of the Micrologus International Conference “Arabic and Latin Science of Vision and the Theory of Perspective in Early Renaissance Florence”, which was held on 27th and 28th September 2018.The conference was hosted by the Società Internazionale per lo Studio del Medioevo Latino (SISMEL) in Florence which also publishes the journal. The event received sponsorship from the Union Académique International (“Transcultural conferences of UAI”), the Dipartimento di Studi letterari, filosofici e di storia dell’Arte of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, the Centre for Urban Design, Architecture and Sustainability (CUDAS) at the University of Huddersfield, and the Centre for Urban and Built Ecologies (CUBE) at London Metropolitan University.
