Kelly, Jessica (2023) Surfacing Stories label: Behind every architect…. [Show/Exhibition]
Abstract
The Surfacing Stories project (2022-23) was collaboration between the V&A Museum and the Royal Institute of British Architects. Along with 12 scholars and activists, I researched and wrote a new museum label that brought fresh perspective to an architectural object in the museum. Olivia Horsfall Turner, Senior Curator for Architecture and Design at the V&A, described the project as ‘a key part of the conversation for the gallery’s next phase’. The labels were displayed during the London Design Festival 2023.
