Abstract / Description

The illegal use and trade of drugs is an ongoing public health and safety issue that has serious consequences for individuals and society. The strategies and conduits for purchasing drugs have evolved greatly in the past decade. Although the internet has become a globally popular context for drug trafficking, research in this topic is still in its infancy. Thus, it is important to estimate the scale of online drug purchases in different markets and conduct an exploration of risk factors and preventive measures for this evolving problematic behaviour.
