Abstract / Description
This chapter utilises autoethnography to take a playful look at the author's own journey from self confessed Luddite to creator of an influential online community of Doctoral students and academics. Despite its humorous tone, the chapter sets out to use the author's own experience as a means of demonstrating the opportunities that online connectivity can provide in building and supporting communities of practice within social work and other professions.
